Hey guys,
I Andrew Lowe from Austin, Texas. I have just got into lasers, I dont have very much of a back ground in this stuff at all. I come to you from a background in the military and IT world as not only serving for our country overseas and CONUS, but also in the non-profit sector as an IT director.
With that being said I wanna jump into this nice hobby mainly for purposeful usage for such things as having a portable laser to cut tape, creating a laser engraver for customizing equipment, and just as a fun hobby to past the time!

I'm sure I will be a bit of a "n00b" for a bit, however I can offer help with IT and military related questions if you just so happen to find yourself in a bind and need for my brain.

I'm was just on the edge of ordering a Krypton, like, really just on the edge - until after talking to the CEO, asking for reassurances after having a horrible time with the Arctics, that this would be better.

All he could offer was a bunch of marketing speak. I asked for a guarantee, and he simply said stuff along the lines of "I'm sure you will receive a great laser". Sorry, but that's weasel wording.

All I wanted was a guarantee that it'd ship within the week (was claimed to be in stock -that's not hard) and be up to the specs they claimed on the website. He couldn't offer any of those guarantees, just saying things like "I bet you'll like it."

After what I went through with the Arctics, it's gotta be a little bit more than that.

I wonder how much money they've lost because of the negative reviews here. Still, it might be a better idea to occasionally post one or two negative comments on their Youtube videos. They're making lots of people go "aaah, oooh!" there.

Well I almost ordered an arctic the day I found this forum, any of you who know IT techs or are IT techs KNOW that we do our research before making purchases.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome BTW, I will most likely shoot a few of you a PM sometime this week to pick your brains so I can get started on that doomsday deathray I've been meaning to get around to for a few years now.
