This runs off of CR123's which can be found at Dealextreme.com, Batteryjunction, your local RS, or Superstore, or on e-bay

add to FAQ list:

1: ANY 5.6mm (AKA TO-18) diode WILL and I repead WILL fit in these barrels. basically if it looks like a DVD burner diode, or the size of senkats diodes, it will fit. regardless of open can or not.

yea it prolly will.

just be careful with the open cans,they are fragile.

it's about a 50% chance you will havest a good diode from a dvd-rw. there are just soo many different types of diodes inside dvd-rw's it's just not worth the risk in my opinion. I've compiled a list of known good dvd-rw's to harvest from.

I jsut killed 2 DVD-DL-RW 20x diodes, got them out alright, I even made a tutorial video... except I culdnt get the wires on the back desoldered to remove the PCB thingy, and too much heat killed it. My IR one just stopped workign instantly, so now im bummed...

i know, thats where i found the right one, im probably going to get that sony or pioneer that VaThInK has...so ya, thanks for that list ;)
 
hey kenom, if one of those 13 barrels that havent been payed for doesnt get payed for later, can i buy it?
 
OK FOLKS WHO HAVN'T PAID THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO PAY BEFORE YOUR REMOVED FROM THE LIST AND YOUR BARREL OFFERED TO SOMEONE ELSE.  PLEASE EVERYONE LOOK OVER THE LIST AND SEE IF YOUR NAME SHOWS PAID IF YOU HAVN'T PAID LET ME KNOW.  IF IT SHOWS UNPAID AND YOU'VE PAID LET ME KNOW.  I'VE GOT A TOTAL OF 68 PAID FOR BUT SHOW AN INTEREST IN 81!

I hate to be a turd but I'm going to offer those barrels for sale if payment hasn't been made by monday (23rd?)
 
Hey Kenom and guys.. Sorry I've been MIA. I just moved 3 hours away and this is week 2 of a new job, so going in early and staying late right now. I haven't been reading the forums, so missed the GB info.

Anyway, I see there's interest in 'excess' barrels, so Kenom - I've paid for only 1 of the 3 I said I was interested in. If by monday you don't have those 2 paid for through LPF members, send a PM and I'll pay for my other 2. I suspect though that 2 people will be happy I didn't jump on all 3.
