GB: 473nm diode information / giveaway

Visually, slightly different than 473nm now, nothing much to see.
 





300mA, the 480nm line has taken over.

Anybody have ideas? Why is this happening?
 
300mA is pushing it I think. I mean, it's not like we kill one and get a thousand more based off the tests.
 
Cool! I agree with stopping now. Efficiency is already going down, anyways.
Do you have a grating? Try to get some shots of the lines!

Efficiency is still going up, we're in the clear :) Where's your sense of adventure? :D

I tested this out with a diffraction grating, two dots side by side repeating, there is most definitely TWO wavelengths coming out of this diode. Going to get my tripod and I'll be back with a picture.

Unfortunately I have to go to work tomorrow morning... gotta go to bed now.
