The first post, and the last updates from Glenn are really all that matter. Don't have to read the stuff in the middle.

Looks like there should be slots available for diodes on both the a140 projector and the #7 a130 projector.

Post is fine for this question, now it's $53 for a A140 diode to Hawaii, (or anywhere in the USA, I may also get a few more of the $50 total for one shipped in USA A130 diodes, but mostly I am getting the A140 ones now as a good number of folks are asking for them, and the cost is very close. TheTeslaWarrior, you live nearby, just come over and pick out a uranium glass marble, and someone post a pic of what your lasers dot projects through one, so others can see, these are melted marbles so the beam distortions are interesting... -Glenn

Also,
Am I right to think that I only need batteries and a 18650 to complete the laser? - I can use Jayrob's 18650 and this battery?

Without the need for any soldering?
