Not exactly, but you are getting warm.

Hint: they are for the marine environment. Although some work outside of water.
 
They can be sonars, magnetometers, or 3D-scansonars ..... or, with those shapes, also sample collectors (like, for get samples of water and similars)


BTW, i see none guessed mine, so ..... it was a cheap Feng-Shui compass :p :D
 
Not acoustic listen devices, but they work to do some kind of sample so that is an "almost" win.

Hint: if they are not used in water, they do the same job outside of water.(It's not easy)
 
Not exactly for pollution, but it is related in some way.

Hint: the moon and the earth have a geometric relationship.
 
Not tidal measuring buoys.

Hint: a grain of sand and a rock have a geometric relationship.
 
No not measuring the velocity of water.

Hint: a .25 inch ball bearing has a "geometric/geometry" relationship to a .10 inch ball bearing. And the device uses a laser.

I have no idea, and unless your a scientist, i dont think anyone is going to either.
 
Ok, I'm going to make it easier.

A "filter" with different grades does what? Although the device is not a filter, it is an analyzer.

This one was very difficult. It is a laser driven particle size analyzer. You're up Ped. :)
