Game: Guess the mystery object !

No, usually only used on drills (can be used for CNC machines, anyway)

Is it a wire tap, used to tap thread into holes you just drilled?

Second guess: magic device that makes autofocus go haywire.

I suppose tyson win ;) (if countersink is that what i mean ..... sides for screw heads, right ?)

It's used for make side for 45 degrees head screws, or also just for take away the "cutting borders" that a drill bit left when you drill a metal part.

EDIT: your one is a test socket/heatsink assembly for laser "brick style" diodes ?

I guess HIMNL9 is the winner. It is a 9mm laser diode test/heatsink jig made by billg519 and you guys call yourself laserist's:na:

Ok, in the meantime i go to lunch, try to guess this one:

attachment.php

Helps:

It can have different lenghts, but always the same diameter

It's not a standalone "tool" (like, as example, a screwdriver or an extractor)

It "add" a function to another component.

Try to be more specific possible ;)

Correct, it's for add the "shaft" to a trimmer type potentiometer and use it as a standard one (this one go in the trimmers that have hexagonal hole, instead slot screw hole)

EDIT: it's a shame that you have edited the OP, limiting the difficult ..... i had some very hard to guess :eg:, from my collection of old electronic curiosities :p :D)
