To be more specific, uranium fuel rod being lowered in place through water, hence the blue glow.

Now here's a real mystery object. Maybe somebody here can identify this. I'm not even sure what it is. It was found when I was trying to one of my property corner markers. My guess is something comm related.

No idea about that one Dr_Evil

Millirad, although it looks familiar to something else, I'm gonna say some kind of rock produced by lava? (If they have a name?)

Yes BudK and TTerbo it is coprolite=fossilized crap. It has no smell and makes a great curiosity for your man cave. :)

Dr Evil,

that is a CATV TAP - kinda like a 'balanced' splitter.

it has a specific singal loss ACROSS the input (on the left) and the through port (on the right), so when you connect additional lines to it, the signal level going thru it doesn't change...

you can actually find similar items hanging off telephone poles too.

very common item, there are literally 100's of millions of these worldwide...

heres a real stumper- if fact I am only 90% sure of what it is.

I found it in the warehouse I rented for S. TEXLEM last year.
One vague clue is that the warehouse is in Freeport Tx.

sorry i tried three times- can not upload pics from my PC.

will try again tonite
