Damn. The songs on the U.S. Chart were pretty boring, but in the UK chart the #1 song was The Real Slim Shady by Eminem, and the #5 song was, I kid you not, Darude- Sandstorm

*Most* of the music, on the charts, in 1954 was "boring" ;)

It wasn't any better in 1956!

The #1 song was by George Cates -"Moonglow and theme from Picnic"; we all remember that hit, don't we? :crackup:

The #1 song in the UK was by Pat Boone - "I'll be home"


This was the cover on the june Playboy Magazine. It's about as exciting as the #1 hit song that month!
