FS: X-Drive V6 3A Buck Driver "Sale and Info"

I understand :) Lazeerer, do you make adjustable versions of these? Clif does have a massive range of current settings to choose from, but sometimes he just doesn't have the right current for the right driver.

Have a good one

Man I have been testing his adjustable CG drivers they are the by far the most versatile driver IMHO out there right now. Good on you laseerer.

I really want one of these! Pm incoming!

PM Incomeing.:)

Thanks Buddy.:)

I still have not had a chance to post a thread on it. Here is a couple shots for those that have not seen it.:

Here is where you bridge to go into the second range:

I remember Josh you where the first person to get the Longer first revision of the ADJ one and you loved it. Iam glad to hear your still thinking these are the best.:)

:thanks:

I read the thread and am wondering is it possible to wire 2 of these in parallel to get the 5a that is possible with the new red c mount? I'm considering entering the I c red competition. I have built a host but am unclear on the drivers. thanks.

Subscribing for answer to that question above me.

Angelos (lazeerer) has already discussed this on the previous page of this thread :)

Hey Mitch.:)

Yes you can Parallel them But whats the point.

What alot of people dont know is that the X-Drive is Not really limited to 3A.:)

Its actually Higher then that.

4A-5A and can even go higher.:shhh:

I have not had the chance yet to make the proper post yet with all the pictures and details about it etc... But basically in short if your looking for 3-4A then that is easily doable with an X-Drive V6.:) No Need to Parallel 2 driver for that.:)

I actually sold a few of them to people looking for High Efficient drivers for there XML led builds at 3.2A and a couple to someone to parallel for an SST-50.:D

Here is a Picture i took of an X-Drive set to 3.2A for an XML:

:D

What is the Exact Currant you would Like.:)?

Also I do Make Custom Boards upon request.:) So if you want a Special Size Board I can Make it happen.

In Short until i make the proper post the X-Drive can go Higher then 3A and if the currant you want is higher then the Max that 1 X-Drive can do then you can parallel them. THe X-Drive is a Beast.LOL

... So yes, based on what Angelos said it can be paralleled although he also said that the other versions of his v6 x-drives can already do 4-5 amps

MORE than 3 amps on one little x-drive? :eg::eg::eg:
Yes Sir.:)

I really dont want to go into to much detail yet as i need to get that post up but....

There is Different Chips with same specs as each other in the same line but different Max Outputs. The Higher the output the more each chip costs.

Rather then having all 5A chips lets say and paying more per chip which will make the X-Drive cost more it allows me to choose between the chips to use the one that fits best and keep cost down for everyone.

So in a way this is a good thing because it helps keep cost down for those that dont and wont ever need to see that high of a currant.

This is one of the reasons i liked fixed over Adj.

The Higher currant costs a little more to get but really not much. Few Dollars.:)

Way Way Much cheaper then buying 2 of 1 driver to duel them up. So its a Win Win Situation.

Being able to Go that high and Keeping the original specs is incredible.

Based on what Angelos said the other version of the v6 x-drive can do 4-5 amps although I've never seen this version of the v6 x-drive,

try PM'ing him about it :)

Hey lazeerer I would like to buy one of these from you. I would PM you but I think my PMs to you get lost in a void or something.

Can these drive types be potted in silicone? At 1.8a to be specifically. Would that make them hot? I have to isolate them from my box and I think that will take the least room. :thanks:

Dear Lazeerer, I have one of your 1.8 amp x buck drivers I am having problems with. I would also like to buy another one if you give me a link to buy it. I have been trying to troubleshoot this driver and it's tough without a schematic or at least a pin out diagram of the IC. you can email me at imagine15@live.com Gratefully, paul1598419

Hi Angelos,

just want to let you know, payment has been sent  Please check your PM.

THanks again.

Dear Lazeerer, I need two 1.8 amp x-buck drivers. Can't seem to find them anywhere. If you have this for sale let me know, give me a link I can pay with and I will do it as soon as I get it. email:imagine15@live.com thanks, Paul Bruneau

Received 2x 1.8a x-drivers and 2x 850ma drivers.

Look awesome, very professional and already have one 850ma red laser built!

Although, I will need another 850ma. Long story short, it involved my drill hitting one of the chips lol

Noob mistake!

Thanks!
