Good question

It's not like its running at 2W. In my mind, taking size and power comparisons into account, I would imagine the duty cycle to be similar to a survival laser.

Do you really think that's nesessary rhd? 2910 posts and a rep power of 64, I'd say you're pretty well established here.

I'm waiting on a pretty good sized check to come in and if it does before you sell this, I'll take it off your hands.

I've spent far more than I should have in the last week, but at least I'll have some cool, new toys to play with. :wave:

BTW, just from what I've seen so far, I think a lot of the newer members don't realize that the 445nm's aren't like the 650's and 405's with differrent burning speeds and power capabilities, and a 445nm diode running at 550mW is the same diode that some members have pumped to over 2 watts.

Tell you what RHD, if you'll let me send you $50 now and the other $75 by the end of the week, I'll take this puppy of your hands.

I could pay it now, but I'm trying to wait on a couple of checks to roll in, so I''m not feeling quite so broke. It's been a rough week or so on laser stuff, and I probably already dropped a $1,000 or so in the last 10 days. I need to learn restraint, or at least what a savings account is meant for.

And, if you have any diodes you could sell, I'm going to be looking for a 6X 405 and a LPC-815, pressed into Aixiz modules. Yeah I'm still a noob and don't have a diode press just yet.
