LOL! Those are the smooths that I got from you a couple of days ago. You wouldn't happen to have four 3.7V RCR123's would you?

Just a little pay back.

I do happen to have 4 UltraFire 3.6 volt RCR123's that I got from here because I didn't want to wait for DX:

As you can see from that link, I paid more than the DX price. 3 of them are still in the plastic wrapper, and the other one has only been charged once, I was using it to test LED emitters when building my Key Chain flashlight mods...

So if you want them, I'll have to ask for about what they cost me... How about $23 shipped for the 4 of them?

Heh - How am I liking them so far ? do you REALLY gotta ask that ? As usual, the premier designer of tutorials, kits, and custom lasers has outdone himself - by far the easiest kits avaialbe out there - wish I could afford them ALL !

Not really, I knew you liked them...

But I was hoping for some feedback so that others would know. As I am obviously trying to promote more interest in these kits.

This kind of feedback, especially from experienced guys like yourself, Dave, Glenn, and others, really puts a seal of approval on them!

Just giving Jayrob one more plug. I built a 6x blu-ray pocket mini a few weeks ago and it was a super simple build using a flex drive, an aixiz, and the parts supplied with the kit. anyone with the most basic assembly and soldering skills should be able to put one together in no time.

This is a perfect sized host. It's big enough to have a nice solid feel, yet small enough to comfortable carry in your pocket. I don't think I would change much if I were to design it myself. This flashlight was born to be a laser host.. Nice job Jayrob!!

That's smaller both ways than the version 3, which were 12mm X 13.3mm.

Just to let everybody know that the new FlexDrives will fit even easier into the Pocket Mini build.

It really is an excellent driver! If not for the FlexDrive, we wouldn't be seeing these type of builds that can run off of only a single battery...

Jayrob - I got my last two kits in yesterday....it seems the loverly wifey signed for them (with MY NAME GAH !!) but forgot to tell me about them...luckily she is no good with a soldering iron, or they would be built by now, I am sure !

Should i use both the case pin and the negative wire in my 6x build, or is it not worth it?

No need with this kit!

Since you have your ground from the stock round circuit board as shown by Dave above! :

That is all you need... those two wires to you FlexDrive input side. Then two wires from the FlexDrive output to your diode...

Connecting the diode case pin to the negative pin won't hurt anything, but it is only necessary when this is the only route from the battery negative to the FlexDrive.
