FS: Pailide Laser Kit

i figured you were building a 6x at 180mA...a red LOC LD should be ran at 420mA :)
your missing out on alot of power

well....i already got everything packaged so i'll send the spacer to you anyways steel....may as well since i've already paid pstage :)

yeah the spacer will be better than the solder it kinda touchy getting a connection. And I am building a 6x blu ray I just wanted to slap something in there sense I don't have the GGW sled yet, just to see if it would work.

Haha I wish I would have read your post earlier yesterday, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was going on...I was so frustrated that in the midst of everything when I screwed everything together I unknowingly snapped a pin off of my poor PHR. When I clicked the switch with no output I took everything apart and saw what happened. Hopefully the flexdrive isn't fried from that couple seconds without a load, I'll order myself a new PHR-803T sled and by then I will hopefully have the spacer.

I was in a rush when I typed that and who has the first working kit? What now!!! lol JK But this thing is awesome I might want one more

Sorry dude but ive already had mine for a few days now:D

Far right. Review coming soon!

they all got shipped out this morning, so everyone will be getting a washer in the mail incase you can't find it at your hardware store.

Ok, I got my kit and i'm staring at it semi-baffled at what I need to do, Do i need to get the heatsink , PCB and drive out of the head? or what

Yes its pushed in the just take something and push the edges out but dont push on the flexdrive and damage it.

Where do i press it out, the bottom or the top, and how do i get my Aixiz Module to fit into it o.O, Could anyone talk to me through ti on AIM or MSN ;O

How is the Aixis Module held into the heatsink or is it just being held in by wire connections o.O

Look at mohrenberg's sig he has a tutorial link. There is a set screw that holds in the aixiz module push the heatsink and pill out from the front of the light out where the threads are my was in there hard too

i'm scared of damaging the flexdrive if i push in the Heatsink too hard =/

I read his tutorial, I would have absolutely no problems if the thing wasn't pre-assembled and i have to take it apart, and I can't even figure out how to do that lol

Your directions are confusing
"push the heatsink and pill out from the front of the light out where the threads are my was in there hard too "
your teling me to push the heatsink and pill out from the front of the light, the threads aren't in the front of the light

once you slide the "guts" out of the head, you'll notice the heatsink has a 6-32x3/32 set screw in the side of it, this hold the module in place.

just take the head of the flashlight off, and push on the heatsink to slide it all out of the bottom, the flexdrive is tucked inside the black plastic cylinder so it won't get crushed by you pressing on it.

np, if you have trouble with anything or get stumped, just let me know..

i'm waiting on a phr diode from drew, when it gets here i'm going to make a step by step video tutorial for assembly..
