FS: Pailide Laser Kit

Yeah, I decided to try yet another supplier for the green modules ... the price is similar to Susies (actually quite a bit better if I buy in quantity) but I have been guaranteed 135mW average as well as 150+ peak plus there are some other perks, I can order them with or without switches, etc (once I start ordering in bulk) - my goal is to eventually offer them tested to exact spec here on the forum at roughly the same price point as ordering from China so no 2 week wait, and you'll get an exact power graph with each one as well as exact specs in regards to mrad, divergence, etc so no ugly surprises - we'll see how that goes though once I try a few of them out!

I already have a buddy machining me a quick-release module tester to make things go easier/faster if it works out, the only drawback is that to make it all work correctly (and stay somewhat profitable) I'm going to have to take somewhere between 30-50 modules at a shot, again, I'll keep u posted!

Awesome.

One thing though, weren't you taking about blu-ray modules?

finished models up and ready! added some pictures of the kit and what it looks like as an assembled kit!
this thing is awesome....and at $70 total (assuming $15 for diode and housing) to make a laser from this kit (which uses a flex drive v4!)..... thats not bad at all either :)

haha yeah i think you'll be impressed, i was surprised while i was putting one together at well well it turned out, and how everything just seems to go together perfectly.

my next kit (assuming i get to do another) will utilise the rkcstr microdrive, and that will knock the price down another $20 each, making them around $40-45 with driver included.

Do plan to sell these kits for a long time? I am wanting to make a new Youtube tutorial soon to keep my views up and this kit might be good for that, I've been getting a lot of messages asking about a flashlight build like this. I just don't want to make a tutorial based on something that won't be for sale after 3 months, because if that happens my Youtube inbox will be spammed with complaints on asking why they aren't in stock...lol.

i plan on keeping it around as long as the parts are available......so yeah it should be here for a long time to come.
darkarmy should be posting a review on it soon, he received one today.

Just waitin on my digital cam to get home "friend had it in his bag at work" not cool... anyways, as soon as i get the pictures taken "WITH meredith lens for effect ^_^" i'm gunna put her up for sale, and throw you what i owe ya buddy! sound like a plan stan?
