I just got the 'all chrome' ones too. So I have both on hand...

Same price as the black with chrome clip pen hosts.

The chrome ones are a little longer at the front, and have an extra tiny hole above the side button that can easily be covered with a label.

So jay these fit perfect with the o-like moduals correct? They wont stick out the top or anything?

No, not a perfect fit...

An O-like module can be modified to fit the 'all chrome' Pen Hosts. The module is a tad long, and will need to be cut down about 1/8" or so.

Would a hack saw work for cutting the module?
Ill pick this up soon then.. could you include a warning label for green or some sort for me again ?

I have some nice warning labels for red, that you can just cut off the bottom where it says the wavelength...

I'm sure if you are careful, you could cut the module with a hack saw.

Jay would this pen be able to hold a BR/RED in aixiz along with 2 10440 batts?

Absolutely! As long as there is room for the driver. For sure a FlexDrive with 2 X AAA batteries fit easily. But as mentioned in my first post, this is a kit that needs some basic building skills...

Setting up a driver with battery contact spring, side button switch, etc...

Im having someone build them for me , I have the diodes in an aixiz already with rkstr drivers in them and they asked if im sure they would fit.. tis why i asked...

There should be enough room, because a full length AixiZ module could fit if it had to. And I know that a rkcstr driver could fit inside an AixiZ module...

It fits. Thats how mine is set up. Phr set at 125mA with a rkcstr and 2 10440s. Its super nice. Just take care of your host. Mine scratched a little bit around the button.

The hosts are brand new and in plastic sleeves. So yes... just be careful on the build to not scratch it, and it will be perfect!


Once again, I do have the all chrome ones on hand now as well. But those have a small extra hole above the side button hole. (which is easy to just cover with a sticker)

im thinking of building an IR out of one your pens.. would you have any reccomendation as to where to get a nice IR diode that can be put into an aixiz for focusing?
