FS: Feeler - 325mW 532nm FireDragon (thin beam)- $190

$190? That's a hell of a deal, I'm sure someone will jump on this. Out of curiosity, why can't you ship it to the US?
I wish I had the cash/lived in the right place to pick this up :P

Great price! :) What divergence & IR-radiation comes along with this price tag?

Because he's racist!!

lol, im just joking, rhd is cool

He probably doesn't want to ship to the US or Aus because of customs ;)

probably he doesnt want to get it taken by US customs
btw RHD: are you still in halifax?

EDIT: ^ beat me to it

What does the warning label say about the power rating? I own that same laser and it seems to be built like a tank. The green beam is very thin and bright. One thing I do not like about it is the light around the button when it is turned on. I don't really need extra lights, specially in the dark.

Oh interesting, I am surprised that they care about Canada to US customs, would have thought they just checked chinese imports for lasers.

I hate that customs bullcr*p! Makes you feel like freedom is an illusion(because it is :tinfoil:)

I haven't measured the divergence, but it's a nice looking beam. Substantially nicer than the DD FireDragons. No stretch whatsoever to say so. If you have them side by side, there is no comparison. This is a nice thin tight beam.

I believe the IR is filtered. I can confirm if you'd like. But given the brightness and the power rating, it couldn't be leaking much IR onto my LPM's sensor. I'll verify later this evening if requested.

Hmmm, I didn't realize that "American" was a race ;) hehe

It says 1,000mW - which of course this label is not. I'm also not a fan of LED indicators. My perspective is that I'll generally know a laser is on, because of the incredibly bright beam coming out of the front of it, not because of the annoying warning light.

That said, all of the good lasers have this "feature" now. The CNIs, my JetLaser 635, etc. And to be honest, when you have a physical shutter on the laser, it's actually kind of nice to have the indicator LED. I have on a couple of occasions not realized that the shutter was shut, while the laser was on. The indicator light helped me figure this out in a couple of seconds. I would imagine that the laser shining onto the inside of that physical shutter (which is probably plastic) would eventually cause some plastic meltage, fumes, and then damage to the internal lenses. The LED is helpful for avoiding this type of stupid-user mistake.

I'm interested. shipping for Italy is the same price... right? ;)
