No, I just buy the hosts. I guess sometimes the switch needs a little adjustment...

i know this sounds very newbiish i guess. but when you say by-pass a switch, what does that mean and what does it do? thank you!

These o-like modules come with a side button switch mounted on the driver board...

When you mount these modules into this DIY Green host, you must first solder a wire across the switch contacts (see pictures in the first post) so that the module can be turned on via the tail button clicky switch of the host.

It's an easy thing to do...

I am going to buy one of these from you quite soon, I just have to do some more thinking before I am completely sure about what options to choose.
I have GOT to own a jayrob, and a ~150 green has been on my wish list for some time
Is it possible to by-pass the switch on the module from Susie in any other way than soldering? My soldering iron broke months ago and I am not sure I want to buy a new one for 5 seconds of work : I might buy one anyway if glue/tape/pressfit are not reliable options.<

Not worth trying to some how hold the button down...

It will just be a problem waiting to happen. And taking the tiny switch apart would be even worse. Damaging it. The little wire soldered across as shown in the picture at the 1st post is the best way. It can easily be removed if ever needed as well.

You'll probably want a soldering iron for future builds anyway!

I just got my kit today (the 11th). That was fast shipping.

I am really impressed with the machining and the quality of the kit. Now all I need is my module which well be here next week sometime. I well post beam shots when I can.
