FS: Budgetbeams inventory

I wish I had bough more of these, they are perfect for dropping in 532nm modules, I know the 502's will work well too.
I did buy a couple others a while back, one I made my own heat sink and put in a M-140, the other I could use a heat sink for.
Do you have a loose heat sink for a conehead?
Also I would take some of those under sized thread 22mm sinks if you have them and a few more bits and pieces.
I will pm you again since I can't seem to do this all at once. :)

Hey Red, those sinks for the cone head were oginally made by Ehg. When Moh started selling the host he didn't have sinks for them so I sent one to Ehg to make me a couple and then told Moh about it. You never know, maybe Ehg has one.
Also, which 532nm modules are you using? If they have a pot like the ones from Fasttech set the module for .43A as I've found that tends to give the max output if you are interested. The last 4 5V versions I bought from them were 70mW, with 2 just over a 100 and the 4th 130+. For sheer visibility at $6 a pop there's nothing to compare them too. Can't imagine how many I've purchased and thrown in various hosts over the past few years.

Thanks Pman
I have a bunch from flebay buys, I may order some 100mw's from podo after the Chinese New Year just because I like them but I have so many other projects going, not all are lasers, but everything is expensive, lol.

With 532's I like the internal expanders that are set up for a super tight infinity focus, not these match lighters ones they sell a lot of today that will not make a good infinity focus no matter how muvh you adjust them and I have built sliding longer focal length focusers with bigger lenses to get a good distance focus, but for a pocket unit I really want a proper infinity focus.

Have you bought any from podo and hows the focus on the fasttech's?

My items arrived today late, but that was the USPS's fault. Thanks for the great deals. +REP.

Daguin always said the Mcclicky switch fits great in the Kryton. I'm not sure what those switches are rated for.

I got some from Prometheus Lights here for $8, 5/$30. They advertise 3A. I'm using one in a Kryton right now. It is a forward switch, i.e. pressing lightly works as a momentary and pressing firmly until it clicks switches it ON. Pressing firmly again until it clicks turns it OFF. They are in stock as of today.

Oveready has them here and advertise theirs at 3-5A. Not sure if you buy the whole tailcap or get the McClicky by itself plus I have not checked its size.

EDIT-1: For Oveready, you can buy just the McClicky here, also for $8 but they show out of stock.

EDIT-2: BTW - I had to get some parts from the HW store to get the McClicky to fit/work. If there's interest in what I did, reply here or PM me and I'll take/post some pics in this thread.

Going to bump the 501b host/heatsinks to $5ea. With free shipping to those who buy at least 10 (US addresses only for free shipping)

Moh I hate to ask this but where can I get 26awg like the 24awg I bought from you? I make a lot of small builds and sometimes I need a slightly more flexible wire. It seems like when I searchecked ebay or Amazon it's listed as tinned copper.

It's all tinned copper.
Flaminpyro has it, and eBay has it as well.

Flebay had been out of the sturdy fantastic MX-900 but now there are more, this light/housing will hold two 26650's or two 18650's with it's supplied sleeves.

These are very sturdy housings and I even reuse the factory springboards or you can use any 22mm springboard, but I just remove the flashlight driver and solder on a pair of wires, and the switches are tough, they carry way more amps than any diode we use can draw.

Mohrenberg still has drop in heatsinks and the build could not be easier.

I just made an offer of 40 dollars for 3 with free shipping and it was accepted in minutes.

These go up to 35 dollars and more when the supply dries up, I just bought 3 with free shipping for 40 dollars.

Get these while you can, they have been great housings with very sturdy switches, and you can take advantage of Mohrenbergs heatsinks while he has some left, he is selling them for dirt cheap.

Buy the MX-900 HERE

I love these MX-900 flashlights, I re use the sturdy springboard, just remove the driver parts and solder on a couple wires and screw it back it, drop in a moghasm heatsink or make your own, these have switches that will carry the biggest diodes, get em while you can and grab up the last of these nice heatsinks before they are gone as well.

It's so simple to make these ready for a DTR module.

Couldn't agree more Red.
Most of my units are MX-900 bodies.
