Got mine yesterday Jay. Now I know what you guys were talking about a cleaner dot.

The beam is slightly wider than the 405 but it doesn't spread out as much. I can see the difference in power level though when I light a match but all in all its a good buy.

The grip on the little custom ring really gives you superb grip. Used some teflon and its perfect. Thanks Jay. Lens came in clean and undamaged.

Yeah Jay I saw the PM but I was talking about the 405. It was what I asked about not the 445. When you quoted me the price I didn't see 445.

I asked how it would work with that custom knob and you showed me what you do with it and I said that it was ok I'll take the regular knob it comes with.

I don't know why you quoted me for the 445 lens when I didn't ask about it.

EDIT: I have a few of the lenses.

* Half threaded 405 lens - $10
* Custom focus knob with custom fitting (and glued in place) - $18
* Shipping - $4

Total - $32 dollars.

Here's where the misunderstanding started. You said:

So I figured you were talking about the AixiZ lens that fits a tip. The half threaded lens does not come with a 'tip'.

But yes, you can glue one of the focus rings onto it.

Anyway, it was just a misunderstanding. If you send the lens back to me, I can send you one of the others... (with a focus ring that you can glue onto the lens)

Just to let others know, I am not selling the half threaded lenses, I just happen to have a couple...
