Just find somewhere that sells the tiles.

For example, I did some googling and found this: http://www.glorope.com/catalog/detail.cfm?Prod_ID=83&Cat=7&SubCat=16 and I ordered some tiles off them a week ago.

Can't wait for them to arrive :)

For the more $ challenged:

Also:

It doesn't have to be tile to glow

Peace,
dave

**EDIT** I just realized that this is a total thread jack! Sorry Skram0.

I can sell the tiles separate if you want. 99 cents each tile. And remember these tiles aren't just the run of the mill glow-in-the-dark tiles. They're a special formula to glow longer and brighter as you can probably see in the tile writing movies I've created. They won't "dim" down while you're writing like other material does. I've got a couple stuck to my ceiling so when the light goes out they're ready and charged. The green is just crazy bright compared to the other 2. But it's neat to see glow-in-the-dark blue. Here's a pic I just took in my dark room. The shadow you see is the light from my monitor. Hi ISO on the pic and no brightness adjustment from photoshop.

edit: no prob on the thread jack'n.

Yeah, I figured as much. But I have some glowy paper like that stuff, and it doesn't glow as well as the tiles. I think it's because the tiles are thicker :) Also, they are heaps more durable.

One day, I want to tile a wall or floor with these, it would be soooo cool.

jamilm9, the tiles are 1x1 inch. I've already got some from skram0, those are what inspired me to get more :) The ones I'm ordering are 8x8 inch ;D

I can think of a few problems with that. First, the 6x Blu-ray burner diode costs a lot more than the HD DVD diode. So the price would be much more expensive, maybe even double.

And secondly, if you want to boost the power much more you would need a heatsink. A good one too, so that would need to be crammed into the box as well.

Wow, this thing just looks incredibly cool. Something about it being in a box makes it seem so much more serious. I know its just the housing, but I do think its just neat to ses something different. Are there still more of these available? I am trying to build one, but im a total noob at this stuff, and im hoping to be able to pick up one of these bad boys in the next couple weeks.

Yes, they are still available. Tell me how many you need. You may even get a bulk discount. ;)

Here's a pic of the tiles using the same camera settings (manual) about an hour or more later while in the dark.
The room was turned off for about an hour and the monitor was off too.
