FS: 550mW 808nm IR C6 lasers(Yobresal's)

I think that's true initially... but not for long. When I got into this hobby all I wanted was MOAR POWER for the lowest price... now... not so much.

I'm not quite ready to take the plunge into scanners and gas lasers though...yet...maybe if I win the lottery...:tinfoil:

Lol "MOAR".. Thats how i was too.. Im more for "What can the laser do?" now. Gas lasers are..somewhere it my future hopefully.

im still in the MOAR stage ^^
but i HAVE been noticing that its hard to get practical uses out of it other than showing it off at camp, and or party outside at night =D

No offense taken. I used to build more custom lasers in gorgeous hosts that took loads of time. They were unique and desired and I sold them for cheap. I have since switched over to making lasers that are simple to build and give you the most bang for your buck.

Ill have enough cash by next Friday, but these will probably be gone by then.. :/
It would be nice if you could, Save me one if you can. No problem if you can't. I can get one from yob probably. ^.^

Kind of need safety goggles first though.

Last night I was metering one of my greenies, and it's pretty unstable... all of a sudden the output skyrockets from ~60mW to ~160+ VERY fast... so obviously I look over at the thermopile... and what do I see, but a nice little halo of IR, lol:p I was wearing goggles that block 532nm at the time...

If Gary ever gets around to getting a wraparound version of the ir blocking goggles, I'll definitely take one, but only time will tell.

Lol. Nice greenie. Ive never had mine increase, only decrease cause i held it on too long.. :(

Well, the green didn't really increase... at least not that I could see, but certainly the overall output did. I'm not not a fan of uncollimated ir... it was very interesting to see though.

I'm guessing I'll have an IR laser soon whether I want one or not:p
