Hey guy's this will be one of the first things i sell here on the forum. I've bought lots of stuff but this is going to be the my first time selling so I hope you guys enjoy these. Up for sale are 3 Host's. They fit 2x25500 cells. The heatsinks where made by Mrcrouse, so you know they fit nice and tight. I polished the faces myself to a near Mirror finish. These host's are similar in design to the guidesman as they have side clicky switches and inside where the switch rest against is a nice sized pocket for your driver. I'm asking $40 + shipping for each host. I'll let the pictures say the rest. And don't forget to contact Mrcrouse about getting one of his great focused adapters.

just an update I'm down to just one more complete silver host, I've got a couple more black ones but would need heatsink machined for them.

Thanks, they do resemble the maglite but in a more manageable size. They have quite a hefty heatsink at well.
 
Awesome host and price! If mrcrouse made these heat sinks than this is definitely a high quality host. Should sell quickly.

I have to agree, it's a great looking host and heat sink! I especially like the side clicky. It just feels more natural in a bit larger host. I just happened to purchase a blue one of these last wk., for a "future 445 build". For now, being new to the hobby, I'll be doing more reading & learning first. Hope the sale goes well! :beer:
 
Well its been very slow and yet to sell one. I've got another 3 more that I need sinks for but can't do them till I sale at least one of these. It's really looking like I might have these forever.

Have you built a complete working laser from this host yet? Looks like one in your avatar, maybe? Hopefully interest will pick up soon, when all the holiday shopping is over. :san:

sure have. it's a very simple and easy build compared to others i've done.
here was a 9mm with g2 lens and x-drive at 2A.

The Heatsinks face has been polished by myself it looks pretty close to mirror finish as for the host it's self it's just that silver finish, I didn't polish it at all.
