My local Ocean State Job Lot's has the same host's for $3.99. They are nicely built and I use them as flashlights for now.
Lifetime also has built a few into complete laser's.

Yeah, that was awhile ago, but I'm still a rookie and picking new things up as I go.

Sometimes you can find where they're darn near giving them away, I think I got mine for $8 with a coupon.
