I maintain that you'd be selling these twice as fast if you posted bigger photos. I received mine today and HOLY this a gorgeous host. Your photos did not do this justice. This is breathtaking. The textured handle looks like tiny diamonds.

Yes I agree my picture don't do justice, I need to work on that.

This is the new home of my 490nm :)

I've had that diode in a Chinese flashlight host for a couple years waiting for the right host to come along. This one fit the bill. It's using an "Edge" version of the open boost, set to 100mA.

Where do you get a diode of that color? i have been looking on the internet for a while now but i cant find any for sale.

I think it is ok to post to old threads as long as it adds to the thread, better than starting a new one on the same subject, but not something like "oh that's cool" though. That is a pretty blue beam, I'm wondering if it is the camera or the beam really is that color, what nm is it?

I think Ehgemus is tied up making custom ordered hosts for people right now.
