Up for sale is a custom host that holds a 12x30mm or pre-built DTR module and 1 18650 battery. This host is pre-wired and has a positive contact with wire. This host can be built into a laser in about 10min.
Host is 5-3/4" has a focus ring in front and clicky switch in back.

Does this have a driver installed? I'd like to get this if you can confirm I can install a 445 nm diode in it. The diode I have is a 5.6 mm and is in an aixiz module already. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

No you will have to buy a driver for your diode. Did you buy your diode and module housing from DTR? If so he will probably have a driver you can buy from him.

No I didn't buy from him however I see on his site he is sold out of drivers. Which driver do you think would be suitable to run my diode? Currently it's in a large heatsink running off an lm317 driver at 1 amp. Sorry to ask again but this host will accept the aixiz module correct?

Yes it is built for a aixiz module, 12x30mm

I really like this one, too. Single 18650 hosts are nice because you have more options for buck/boost drivers. It would look amazing polished to a mirror finish.

Thanks, if anyone is interested more can be built. They can be polished as well. One thing about polished hosts is that there's more upkeep to keep them looking good.

Do you have any experience with Everbrite on aluminum? I picked some up for a copper build, so I might try that.
