LaserTest.png

Tested the laser multiple times with fully charged batteries on 2 different LPM's. Highest I got was this one where it hit 3.4W. But it is usually around 3.3W or less. I believe other members have had a similar experience. Please calibrate your LPM. I paid for a 4.3W laser, not a 3.4W laser.

You should check your LPM!
Pls see the my pic attached, my violet on my LPM is 1w but at his LPM is 1.2w
If you feel uncomfortable, pls return to me and i will refund for you! Thanks very much!

Both of my LPMs give about the same reading. My third LPM can't read that high but usually reads about the same as well for lesser powered lasers. Not here to argue, just want you to know and others to know for the future. I use Panasonic NCR 3400mAh 18650's. And I charge them on an Opus BT - C3100. I'm not really interested in a refund, I bought the laser for the color, not the output but a 1W difference is significant. Like I said I just wanted yourself and other members to be aware, as there is another sale thread with a member having a similar issue. If you would like to discuss this further please PM me.

I wonder if he is holding the pointer right up against the sensor blocking some of the heat from escaping through natural convection? I see some individuals measure the power of a laser pointer that way because it always reads higher, but then is no longer accurate.

Some people (errr, Lazerphaze) also hold the thermopile while taking measurements 😱

Hi,
8 to 12 aches from the Thermopile and not at a fine condensed beam . Not right uo against the surface of the thermopile .
Sorry thatsjust how I administer a reading .
No digs just my OP take it as its comes . He has a lot to offer to the community here at LPF .
