FS: >110mW PHR, >140mW 4x & >170mW 6x Blu-Rays

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

Hell yes I'm interested =D And the fact it can be disguised is a godsend. *worship* I could pop balloons easy with this sucker, yes?

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

I'll take one if it less than $350.

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

I think you'll find it's going to be quite a bit less than that. ;) I was nearly going to call you on mis-spelling 'potential', hehe.

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

So i couldn't sleep... Go figure.. I guess i forgot, how it went?

Anyway,
Daedal: I'll make you one, just like we agreed..

VillageIdiot: Yes, you should be able to pop baloons easily with this "sucker". Even the regular 25mW Blue Rays can burn and pop and sting. This will be 2x or almost 3x as powerful (depending on your choice)!

Thank you for all your responses, guys, btw!
Now i'll be more motivated to finish the boring work-work sooner, and start the exciting and relaxing fun-work asap.

Looks like the amazing pre-order discount is almost over.. Need to check the list. Or maybe i should extend it a bit? Some people are still deciding tho...

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

Ok, i have 5x Yes, and 2x Most likely.

Additional Yes's can still make it into the first 6 if some of the Most-likely's change to No.
Everything will be processed in the order the PMs were received.

EDIT: Numbers updated.
Second post updated with battery / charger info for the little gray laser.

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

I love the AA style silver laser^^.It looks soooo professionell. The pen is moor elegant and the AA is moor robust.I can't wait to get my ;D

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

EDIT: Maybe one left.

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

Ok, so here is the list of people who ordered one and the type:

1. WickedAlex - small >80mW
2. VillageIdiot - small >80mW
3. usakickass - small >80mW (safety first)
4. lazerguy - small >80mW (safe current first)
5. Daedal - small >80mW / 100mA
6. Beachbumbora - Pen laser >80mW
7. Cybob101 - small >80mW

If i made a mistake, please tell me.
Special orders might take a little bit longer for all the parts to arrive.

People without specified powers, please contact me, and i will try to do the best i can, without driving the diodes too hard. Unless of course you ask me to, but in that case, the diodes are not covered by warranty. For currents under 100mA there will be a "warranty", if a laser should die in an unreasonable amount of time with no fault of the buyer. But if you take some basic care of them, they will live a long and happy life.
Otherwise, diode replacement will be done for the price of a new diode shipped to me. I could sell for $50 more and give a full warranty, but that is pretty much the price of a new diode anyway, and you should only have to pay it if necessary, which is very unlikely. Besides, the diodes will soon be cheaper.

All six are spoken for. Later the price will be ~$200. I hope i can get the diodes through customs without paying so much custom fees and taxes... :'( If successful, the price will be lower! I would love to give a good price, if only i could get the parts cheaper.

I will not be here too much during the next week. Need to finish work, so i can do these ASAP. I will respond to PMs or e-mails tho.

I expect to post some more pics and beam shots on tuesday.

EDIT: Updated the list. Again.. And again...

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

Good that you will post pics, especially beamshots - I am never getting tired of watching laser beams! :P Actually, 250 bucks is still a great deal for a 70mw bluray, the price the first 6 is getting them for is absolutley incredible. It seems like the small gray model seems to be the most popular one, Personally, I think that it looks much better than a pen laser. And if you will get caught by the police with that model, you can say that it is a flashlight and they won't confiscate it! ;D

Just start unscrewing the lens before they get close to you LOL

Well, they might not be convinced that it is a flashlight. I'm using this just because it looks very suitable for a laser (no wide head).

I absolutelly love the way it looks. I was searching for a suitable host for a while. And this seemed like the best. I also got the black version, but that one doesn't come appart into three pieces, so it's pretty much useless. I would have to put everything in from above and somehow glue it in or something. Here, the laser module will just screw into the head, and there will be no wires visible anywhere, even if you take the laser module out of the head.. To get to the wires and stuff, you would have to take the module appart.

Originally, i wanted to turn it into a red, powered by two 1/2AA batteries through an LM317. Might still do that for Ben78 if i can't fit one into a Nova Body easily.

Oh, the disguised models will come without the warning label of course, and with a mirror glass reflector, so the insides will not be visible without taking it appart. The pen will come with an <1mW or <5mW label, just in case.

I was promised to get some "<100mW 473nm" labels. Not 405nm, but still better than 650 or 532.. ;) If i do get them, i will send them to those who want in a regular envelope.

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

sure they would if you take the collimating lens off. I have a LED LENSER flashlight that has lenses and gives almost the same effect as the laser without optics.

Oh, you're talking bout the flood of light...

I sure hope they don't know what flourescence is tho.. ;)

Re: FS: >50mW Blu-Rays, two models... Any interest

All six lasers are spoken for. No more openings for the first batch.
