People MUST post what they get.

Only problem is... if it turns out to be REALLY awesome there will be a forum riot next time Dave tries to sell some more of these :D

By the time I do this again, 30% of the people on the list will have been replaced by NOOB's  ;)

These started out as packages of optics.  After I got the optics I was going to sell together, I thought about (like I always do), "What 'freebie' am I going to throw in here?"  Then I just kinda got a bit carried away.   :-[  I had a blast putting them together and then answering questions about them.  They aren't really for the neophyte.  I had a couple of new members asking about what was in them.  As I explained to them, if you don't know the value and uses of Mil Spec filters and/or front surface mirrors, then it will be just a box of cool stuff worth the $100.  However, those that understand the price of laser optics, will see a good deal with just the optics and everything else in there as "freebies" that came with a package of optics.

Oh by the way, I found that picture of your brother on the net.

hat.jpg

Now THAT is a hat of hatness ;)

(He seems like a cool guy, but I don't know if I'd like a deer fawn eyeing my package as I peed)

Peace,
dave

*goes off to make a bigger hat*[/quote]

And it has been thus since Cain and Able . . . .filial brothers locked in the age old competition about who has the biggest hat

<sigh> Will the children never learn?

Peace,

Wow, that was fast  :o
I'm curious to know what is inside!

Well, they are all in the mail.  I sent them priority mail.  I had to use the "large flat rate box."  They were too heavy (read that "more expensive") for regular Priority mail boxes.  I had to "fill in" a bit with bubble wrap, because of the size of the box, but the stuff wouldn't all fit in a small flat rate box.

I hope y'all enjoy unpacking them as much as I did packing them :)

Y'all will know in 2-3 days :)

Make sure you poke around in the "peanuts."  There may be some small stuff in there too ;)

Peace,
dave

Hahahaha, I hate packages like this.  Pokin through the peanuts pulling them out one by one looking for yet another goody that may have gone unnoticed...  But it's sooo much fun.  Like a child at christmas.   Thinking as he rummages through the remaining presents under the tree that there may yet be one more for him.  *sigh*  to not have the finances of a college student.

*Wonders to himself if there's a adult site named "fat old exposed students" for me to make some extra cash from*

Oh and dave I notice you and I have the same reputation number in a world where your dislexic and I'm not!!!!

Re: "extra cash" -- let us fervently hope NOT

Now there's a version of hell I hadn't yet considered . . . .to be a dyslexic in the land of the palindrome <shudder>

Peace,

/me goes to look up what the hell palindrome means.
/me is now educated thanks dave.
I always wondered what racecar was.

Have you ever pulled out the "Racecar spelled backwards is racecar!" at a party? You're almost guaranteed to get at least one person to say, "hey.... it is!" in a moment of realization.

I think maybe I go to more interesting parties than you do.

If you've ever heard the song "bob" by Weird Al Yankovic, every line in the song is a palindrome :D its amazing. Here are the lyrics for your enjoyment ;D

I, man, am regal - a German am I
Never odd or even
If I had a hi-fi
Madam, I'm Adam
Too hot or to hoot
No lemons, no melon
Too bad I hid a boot
Lisa Bonet ate no basil
Warsaw was raw
Was it a car or a cat I saw?

Rise to vote, sir
Do geese see god?
"Do nine men interprite?" "Nine men," I nod
Rats live on no evil star
Won't lovers revolt now?
Race fast, safe car
Pa's a sap
Ma is as selfish as I am
May a moody baby doom a yam?

Ah, Satan sees Natasha
No evil lived on
Lonely Tylenol
Not a banana baton
No "x" in "Nixon"
O, stone, be not so
O Geronimo, no minor ego
"Naomi," I moan
"A Toyota's a Toyota"
A dog, a panic in a pagoda

Oh no! Don Ho!
Nurse, I spy gypsies - run!
Senile felines
Now I see bees I won
UFO tofu
We panic in a pew
Oozy rat in a sanitary zoo
God! A red nugget! A fat egg under a dog!
Go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog
