See how compared to a high powered 445nm , the beam profile of a quality DPSS is much tighter.

Why am I selling it
Money for a university student is TIGHT . So as part of my financial planning , certain things just have to go. I battled over a long time of should I sell it... but in the end... it just have to let it go.
I can always buy a new one later when I get a job lol.

Added Info _Laser History :
It was purchased on the 5th July 2013 at a discounted price of $388 with the generous help of DJNY as liaison between CNI and I. (Laser Pointer Forums - Discuss Laser Pointers - View Profile: DJNY).

Shipped back to CNI for repairs on September 2013 after an accident where the laser slipped off the clamp I was holding it in and fell onto a beach, the DPSS module was misaligned . So it was returned to CNI for repairs.... and by repairs I think they actually changed the entire DPSS module , cos the entire workmanship quality is different.
See it for yourself.

It was returned and repaired on November 2013.

Light usage since then.
And by light usage I mean mostly sitting in a box.

Added _Special Note
I just remembered that CNI sent me a "replacement shutter" free of charge , so of course , I'm gonna throw it in.. free of charge. Never quite figured out how to use it tho. So maybe you'll have more luck than I do.

I'm not in the market for the laser, but if you want a general tip, I would suggest:
- Photos, photos, and more photos. You need at least a couple photos of the unit itself, even though it's a common host.
- I may be wrong, but it seems like the 10% drop from $388 (new) to $350 (used) is not nearly a sufficient discount to account for a full year of age on a DPSS portable, or the fact that it's now outside of CNI's warranty.

you know what?

You have a very valid point there.
I think I'm gonna have to reassess the pricing and presentation here.

Its on hold I suppose.

My general rule for second hand 532nm DPSS lasers is .50c a mW.

Re: FS : 532nm 500mw Green Laser - CNI PGL-III-C

My general rule for second hand 532nm DPSS lasers is .50c a mW.

so how about say.... $300.
Does that sound like a slice of fried gold for a 595mW minimum 532nm DPSS ?

Re: FS : 532nm 500mw Green Laser - CNI PGL-III-C

How's the beam ? is it tem00...

Re: FS : 532nm 500mw Green Laser - CNI PGL-III-C

Alrighty then.

I've added quite a bit more information to it and readjusted the pricing.
Check it out,

Re: FS : 532nm 500mw Green Laser - CNI PGL-III-C

$200 for that laser? Are you sure it´s not a typo? :)

I tried selling it for $350.
No one wanted it...

Maybe $300 then.....

Oh gees, I wish there are like one of those.... 2nd hand laser dealership where you can bring it to and have it priced by a specialist lol

Re: FS : 532nm 500mw Green Laser - CNI PGL-III-C

Your price is right/good for this laser!

Just give it some time. I´m sure someone gonna get this super-bright DPSS-beam-machine :)

on btw.
It only uses 3.7V 18650 batteries , it will take protected circuit variants who are slighly larger in diameter..
DO NOT use 2 16340 batteries on it , you'll burn the driver.
