FOR SALE: Aluminum Heatsinks for 12mm modules(Price Drop)

Re: FOR SALE: Aluminum Heatsinks for 12mm modules

I can't imagine shipping to Canada would be more than $10-12, considering you could easily fit these in the standard bubble type mailer envelope.

If the buyer wants to have regular run of the mill shipping then sure it would cost $10.38 to ship. It would take a week or more I was told to arrive using this method. May ask the point of this post of yours? Do you live in Canada? Do you wish to purchase a heatsink?

Obviously I saw it. Lol this is my thread after all. And if you look at all my posts within this thread you will see I already quoted him a shipping charge.

Hey. Just a tad concerned about the drill hole on these. It's pretty darn rough. You can actually see the ridges. I have concern that there's not going to be great contact with the modules for heat transfer.

Well I guess you should make yourself acquainted with some thermal grease :/

I have not de burred these at all. I have however tested every one and they are fine. That is nothing a round file wouldn't take care of.

Well that's great... I guess I'll go buy a round file, that will cost me more than the price of the heatsink....

If you are selling something, shouldn't it be a finished product?

And to that point, if this is just minor finishing work, why skip it? A round file may not be an exotic tool, but it's one that I don't have.

I don't know - it's not like this was a hundred dollar host, but at the same time, it is something I was hoping to use, and I won't use it now. A rough surface has a very big impact on heat transfer, which is basically THE sole purpose for a heatsink.
