I am selling a laser using the Mitsubishi ML501P73 diode ran at 1A, which gives me ~800mw.
The laser was built by me recently, but I am now selling it because the laser is too powerful for me, and I am too irresposible and scared I'll hurt myself or someone else.
Here are some photos of the host:

Focused to burn:

Without any lens:

The dot when focused at ~6ft (the lens I use is a bad stock g2 lens):

If you need more photos or more info, just tell.
The laser can run on either a single 18650 batter or two cr123a or rcr123a batteries.
The beam and the dot will look a lot better with a three element lens, but it will take some power away.
The asking price is 60$.
Now I don't know if I can legally ship this to you (probably not) already built, but I might dissasemble it and sell it as a kit, in parts.
My location is Croatia, so I would prefer if you were located close to my country.

Huh, it almost looks like your lens is installed backwards. Have you tried it the other way around?

I have installed the lens both ways and took photos. One side gives me a nice-ish beam when screwn all the way out, and a line when screwn all the way. The other side gives me a focused point for burning when screwn all the way out, and a line again when all the way in.

I have that same diode in a Cyprus II all copper host doing a little better than 1 watt. Seems a little on the pricey side to me. These diodes are quite inexpensive now. Good luck on your sale.

Well, the host looks like a 501B flashlight host. With the small heat sink they usually come with, I have bought these for as little as $15.00 to $20.00 each. The diode is/has been available on eBay for ~$20.00 to $25.00. It is a used laser, so........

So, it is an SL kit, then? It looks just like a 501B flashlight host. What are the main differences? They can't be much.

Well for one the threads are MUCH smoother on the C6 (at least the ones I got from SL), and the finish is less shiny which is what makes the 501b look and feel cheap imo. C6 is also smaller and lighter, but that does mean the 501b has room for a bigger heatsink.

I guess it depends on which 501B flashlight host you use. I have gotten several that were fine and also had a matte finish. At $15.00 they weren't a bad deal at all for less powerful lasers.
