Nice simon!

I like the luxeon MflaRe lights. I have both the 500 and the 1000 lumen models, both with adjustable focus. Great for patrolling the propertah for trespassers, its like a in hand search light!

Nice to see this new board here on the forums:D

I got one of those in a CPF group buy about a year and a half ago too... Still works; Have another one that doesn't though; I think the lead acid battery is dead.

Cool for the first flashlight review. HID is nice, i'd like to get a handheld.

Im my non-bias personal opinion, the most cost effective spotlight is the Stanley HID. 3000lm @ $60

The Stanley's are nice, but I could never bring myself to buy a flashlight with an effective ~35 minute runtime.
