Wow! :o That fire ball thing is awesome! I know I'll be trying that one sooner or later! I could picture a man running down the street in a Mario costume throwing fire balls!

In case you didn't know, I'm also a pyro! (but then, who isn't?) ;D

Hi nikokapa, I have never in my life seen something as shocking :o or amazing :-? in my entire life ;D Those are 2 of the coolest 8-) stunts. It's amazing what the human brain is capable of dreaming up! phoenix77 ;) 8-)

That fireball thing does work. Have you ever put rubbing alcohol/acetone on your hand and lit it? If you keep the liquid on only one side of your and and light it, it burns without burning you. You have to be careful to make sure that you don't tilt your hand too much or you can get burnt.

i saw this video a few months ago, thought it looked cool, but never got around to trying it out.
lol i didnt picture being mario and throwing these, but wearing a black robe and hood which you cant see your face. also you would wear black gloves or skeleton hands and then hold one of these in each hand and walk down the street.

lol too much imagination.

but yeah i hope somebody does it and makes a NICE tutorial....

though i've never tried that acetone thing, i still cant get why your hands dont get burnt

I don't see a problem with that tutorial... even a dumbass like me could follow that.

Put a magnet in there and you got yourself a fire throwie!  ;D

Not recommended though.

I'll try to explain it to you then :P Liquids do not burn, only the vapors ignite. When the liquid is on your hand, it is not burning. The vapors just above it are burning, but because heat rises, your skin doesn't get affected very much, the most that will happen is your hand might get a little warm.

LOL! ;D That would be a pyromaniac's wet dream... For "artistic" purposes though, it would probably be safer if the burning ball was mounted to the magnet with an offset stem (see pic attached). That way you could toss it at any metal object and it would blaze away until the fuel ran out, without torching the metal surface or it's paint. (assuming no wind, of course)

Very Johnny Storm... :D

I think your supposed to use petroleum based fluid like zippo lighter fluid.

Absolutely, you need the fumes to be burning, not the liquid itself for your hands to be safe. I'm sure you'll find a can lighter fluid in any store that sells cigarettes. That's the stuff you need.

Play safe nikokapo! We don't want to be seeing another "Don't do this" thread in the safety section... :P

CC, of course i'm gonna be careful, last thing i wanna do is burn something else than my eyes :P

but, dont i have to buy an alcohol based one? cause i dont know much about this stuff (i dont smoke).

tutorial request: how to be a pyro
