welp, back to square one.

PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS AN OLD THREAD: CNI NO LONGER SHIPS HANDHELD LASERS, OR PORTABLE LASERS OF ANY KIND TO THE US

561nm 5mW pointers, $260/pc without quantity discount for 10 or more, or shipping, banking etc...

i've changed it back to a feeler because quite frankly it wasn't ready to be a group buy :( , so i am very sorry to get peoples hopes up there. if anyone would like to take it over, go ahead.

so now i guess this is a reminder that 561nm wavelength is relatively affordable from CNI, so if someone else wants to do a group buy they can.

Re: FEELER: CNI 473nm and 589nm <5mw pointer GB

473 isn't too expensive from CNI, I believe their <5mW pointers are $200-$300.

If anyone else is interested:

Their <5mW 520 GLP is $200 & their <5mW 510 GLP is $420 :)

^Sorry to hijack thread :(

Re: FEELER: CNI 473nm and 589nm <5mw pointer GB

UPDATE (gee that sure was fast): for 10pcs of the 5mw 589nm I can get them for only 280$ each. We weren't so lucky with the 473nm though... $210 with the price discount, and with that new diode putting out 5W of >470nm there's no point.

That's alright LeHap, no thread jacking going on there.

I honestly doubt many people here are going to buy a <5mW 473/589nm from CNI when you can get 10 times that power for not much more.

10 times that power costs $140 more (for the dargon lasets 50mw spartan). The same power from dragon lasers is $40 more at the lowest. Where can you get 589nm anywhere for a lower price? I really think this is the lowest price yet.

CNI is the only company that makes any handheld 589nm lasers ---anyone else is resellering CNI product.

So for 589nm the choice is CNI or CNI from whomever has/offers the lowest price.

A 5mW is too expensive when they can get a 50+ mW for a little more.

Should I ask about shipping to a LPF member in canada? Perhaps I'm not the right person to do the group buy.

Well I asked if they could make an exception and send some higher powered lasers to the US. I don't have high hopes for this but maybe they'll do it.

Ask about the 561nm pens

Still way more worth for the money than a 5mW imo. 473nm's start at 300$ up to 330$ at Jetlasers.

Re: FEELER: CNI 589nm and special wavelength <5mw pointer GB

well with that new diode that goes to 5W at ~470nm I think that DPSS 473 is outdated now.

No direct diode laser can outclass a DPSS laser. The thin beam and clear dot is what makes the 473nm beautiful. I would always opt for a DPSS laser instead of a diode laser if I had the choice, even if it would mean way less power.

I second 561nm

Re: FEELER: CNI 589nm and special wavelength <5mw pointer GB

I'm interested in pricing for 561nm too.

Re: FEELER: CNI 589nm and special wavelength <5mw pointer GB

So they said that they cannot offer 561nm in a pointer or as a portable laser. Sorry guys.

But we still have a good deal on the pointers... if we want any...
