Fake Ultrafire 18650's

I had read that Ultrafires had crappy protection circuits in them, so I had wanted to take a look at it. Since I'd never taken apart a cell before, but knew roughly what to expect, the powder freaked me out.

It seems like pretty inert stuff; doesn't react with water -- appeared to sort of dissolve in it. Didn't smell of anything.

Maybe you found the KEY.

Seriously, your powder looks like cocaine:

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that you are the unintended recipient of something that was designed as a drug smuggling mechanism.

I'd probably try to figure out what that powder is, ASAP. Or get rid of it safely.

I bought it from china when i bought my flashlight.

this is a very smart way to smuggle drugs lol maybe they used you as a drug smuggler in shenzen
