FAIL THREAD!!!!

A couple of those aren't that bad. I like the one with the missing toe and the face on the back of the head.

Do you ever wonder when or where people like that go out in public? I've never seen people covered in tatoos, loops in the ears or anything like that IRL.

You must have grown up in the wrong part of the world! Living in Sydney I used to see at least three freaks a day!

As a frequent visitor of NYC... not that uncommon.

Friend who plays in a band and generally knows a lot more "alternative lifestyle" people told me one of the recently more popular trends is "digiting" the removal of a digit... like say the first or second joint of a finger.

Fans Kill and Quarter Football Referee in Brazil

SAO PAULO July 6, 2013 (AP)

Police say enraged spectators invaded a football field, stoned the referee to death and quartered his body after he stabbed a player to death.

The Public Safety Department of the state of Maranhao says in a statement that it all started when referee Otavio da Silva expelled player Josenir Abreu from a game last weekend.

The two got into a fist fight, then Silva took out a knife and stabbed Abreu, who died on his way to the hospital.

The statement issued this week says Abreu's friends and relatives immediately "rushed into the field, stoned the referee to death and quartered his body."

Local news media say the spectators also decapitated Silva and stuck his head on a stake in the middle of the field.

Police have arrested one suspect.

--- Isn't Brazil hosting the world cup next?

Peace,

Well yes. Cops generally speaking have to live in the same state that they work in :(

My own personal last ticket was written for supposedly going 60 in a 25. "Funny" thing is, I was going 40 and the speed limit on the road is 35mph. The POS cop literally lied.

The "objective speed measurement" was pacing, going down a hill, up a hill, and through three turns all in less than half a mile.

Somehow the cops around here that the speed they hit trying to catch up, is equal to the speed that you are traveling.

Could have fought it on those grounds alone, but the risk is the judge could just as easily find me guilty of 60 in a 35, which would be 4 points, plus court fees, plus lawyer, vs a ticket (aka illegal tax) that is $400.

Yeah, proving one's innocence is generally too expensive. And you don't really get anything out of it. Just pay the man, and accept the brand.

Actually, now days it's even tough for the rich, because they have their funds frozen, pending the outcome of the investigation, as the funds (all or in part) could have been obtained as a result of illegal activity. Since there is no way to be sure they freeze all accounts.

End result is even multimillionaires end up not being able to truly defend themselves. Not given the fact that the government can throw quite literally unlimited resources into a case.

Edit, here's a true failure of the Justice system;

To me this is both mind boggling, and scary.

:wtf: He was not "lunging" he wasn't even moving! That the judge didn't view the video and let the officer off speaks volumes.

This is really sad.

The judge didn't just not watch it. She REFUSED to watch.

On what possible grounds, by what convoluted f*ed up perversion of logic, and law can a judge choose to refuse to not view evidence presented by the prosecution, and that is lawfully gathered via a police camera no less?

I think therein lies the problem. She is protecting one of their own. There is no need to view evidence when a decision is already made.

Our view of the justice system is an illusion if this is the reality. If you are a stormtrooper for the State then the rules don't apply?

I like the officer covering up for himself afterwards, scolding the teen for lunging at him. Total BS :scowl:
