I hope i get a Christmas bonus this year :X
I'm new to the electronics side of the lasers, but i think one of these hosts would be a nice way to start, and a project i could work on.
Just need to pray there are some left around Christmas :P

HAHA Well I look like an idiot now. Well I hope the third color is white. If so I might just have to get all three

I think I see a trend. We all are trying to avoid our hosts looking the same as the arctic. Lol @ black. I'm considering getting maybe 2 of them. but we'll see how 1 goes first =D

Replying from my phone so i cant quote.

But answer to shipping to Japan, aslong as its not the 2 country i mentioned on the post, than yes.

The third color i will most likely want it to be a white color, as it doesnt stand out too much. If it is going to be a white, it will look like ceramic white like bowls and plates (shinny)

i also like the silver color as its different, and it has been anodized so its not plain aluminum.

As for the price, if you know how much it cost, if you buy it, you will know that its quality your paying for. Shipping to outside of Australia is darn exspensive also unlike USA shipping and china shipping. Thirdly the parts im including is not much but it also adds up, as the positive contact point with the spring and the Round PCB will need to be made by me so it invloves time also.
Forgot to mention in the OP that its high grade 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum and the plastic part for the tailcap is not your average plastic but a special type that is heavy Duty and will not degrade or heat affected.
There is also cost for Anodizing and laser engraving also that comes into the price, and if you consider the size it is, its alot of aluminum and the parts with the fins requires a 4-5 axiz milling machine to cut the angles of the part.

I need to change the post for shipping and the extra cost for international is after 3 sets.

If you think this is sick, you should look at my next style i will have out.
If you want to be on the list PM me and i will add you on.

Remember the size of the quality and the Amount of pieces needed to be machined is 10 pieces total so the setup cost is alot. But at the end of the day without doing a GRoup Buy this is the cheapest and lowest qty i can buy. Tgis will be sold on other places also, so just a note.

At the end of production when all is done and sold i will donate the price of one to the forum and somone who has purchased a barrel will get one free, but only 1 out of everyone who has purchased it.

Aaron as for the white getting dirty, its anodized, so it will not get dirty like clothes or paper, and if it does, it just needs a quick whipe to get it to the original state.

I really wanted to add a Led switch like the original arctic laser but for 1, theres no hole made for it, but it will only need a drilled hole to fit, and secondly the switch samples havent arrived yet, but the are the identicle to the original ones thats on the Arctic laser.

Pm, i will also have a double ended tailcap to put 2 host together like the ones WL has but trying to work out how to make both switches turn on the same time without effecting the looks on the outside, any ideas will be appreciated.

I like it!
Would it be possible to get one without being anodized. so it could be polished?

I like to polish things and I really think that host would look hot polished!

hehe me too! i have 1kg of polish in my garage :p

Yes, the original color was supposed to be chrome like, but anodizing wouldnt produce that affect. Chroming it will add a layer to it and thicken the parts and they will not fit properly. So thats why i chosed silver. Without anodizing the bare aluminum will get oxidised and slowly ruin the look. But its up to you. And yes, shinny silver is sexy.

You also need to remember that the fin piece has very narrow space between so it will be hard to get a buffer in there.

thats is a valid point.
i think ill stick with the silver look.
I saw the purposed white anodizing photo...looks like the back cover of the iphone lol

I think it is an iphone haha. If it turns out like that, that looks really good!

Hey! low blow! I didn't know you were getting the Krytons AND I jumped on this before you =P
