While taking a break from everything on Saturday I went for a quad ride with a couple friends
We had been riding for a couple hours when we found this cool hill trail, my Buddie went up trail on his Honda and came
back down, then a friend of his tried it on his new 700 Grizzly and hit a rut that turned his front tires and he sorta
forgot to let off the throttle so over the bank he went.
it's about 65 feet down the slope to the trail below.
No one was even scratched in this accident and the rider was ejected and flew approx 20 feet down the hill side,
from where we were standing and watching the whole thing happen it looked like the quad landed on him, I don't
want to go into what I was thinking at that point.
Lets just say the guy was extremely lucky !
So we got a couple more friends and went back on Sunday and recovered the quad from the hill side.
Here's some pictures...
Both people are looking at the quad on the hill side.
You can see the guy above in this picture, he is at the spot the quad left the trail.
I paned a little right and you can see the quad up side down up against the tree about 20 feet down from where it left the road.
One tree stopped it from going the other 45 feet to the trail below and maybe getting beat up even more, or upon
going over the lower trail it was another 50+ feet to the creek below
So we put it on the rubber and dragged it's butt facing up hill
And used a block and tackle and another quad to let it down the face of the slope.
Only 15 feet to go at this point
10 feet
Thanks for lookin
