Very cool, Tero. I see you are incorporating the projector more into your photos. Can't rep you again. Too soon, but I owe you. :D

Yes, as Bob said, those photos are gorgeous, a great start to the new year!

Love that lone yellow beam shining into the snow covered pines! :yh:

Is that yellow, or white? Looks like it has too much blue in it to be yellow, but cameras don't always do the colors justice. Beautiful beams shots, Tero. Happy New Year!

WOW!! Thanks for the wonderful New Year gift, AD. I love how you bend and blend your gorgeous beams within the stunning locale. I’ll happily + rep you as soon as I earn enough privileges

Bunch of beamshots from this evening hiking trip.. :D

I've been eyeing for forecasts last few weeks and today it looked really promising. Sky was clear first time for a really long time. Temperatures have been -15°C - 20°C in past weeks. -I also checked Aurora forecast too, but unfortunately it wasn't that promising this time.

I had to use this opportunity even that would mean that I've had to froze my nuts. I headed to the high cliff where was clear view to the north sky. Freezing northern wind was blowing and maked the temperature feel even freezing. I managed to capture few dim aurora pictures before my fingers we're getting totally numb / frosted.

I really had to move on and try to keep myself warm. I noticed that fog was gathering up at lower grounds, and I decided to head up there.

When I got to the lower grounds the fog was getting really dense. Night was getting even colder but luckily I found a campfire place nearby the lakeside. Someone really kind person had left firewoods etc. aside to the fireplace. Huge thanks to him / her who ever that was, because that saved my night and my frozen fingers.

After while I had enjoyed campfire heat and my fingers we're getting alive again I unpacked my gears and took some beamshots. Campfire embers was providing smoke FX on top of that.

When I got back to home I went straight to hot sauna and had few cold beers. Huh, such a wonderful night.. :p

Some more great photos. Thanks, Tero. I especially like the refection in the snow in the first two. It is too soon for me to rep you again. I owe you. :yh:

That beam in your third photo looks almost good enough to eat, love that wavelength! :yh:
