E-bay Green Module - Not Bad!

I dont mean to start drama hear i did not tell you i was not going to replace it, i simply asked that you try to clean it as you even said when you recieved the laser the dot was perfect. The picture your showing everyone appears to be something on the lense this can happen when a match is light to close to the lense it flames up and burns or contaiminates the glass lense, i myself have done this many times. Yes it did leave my house in perfect tested and working condition with a great beam dot.
Why are you trying to act as if you have been around here for awhile saying im not willing to help a customer on LPF

Notice the join date, the only reason you became a member here was to get my module at a discount through the link in e-bay, instead of paying through e-bay.

You can ask many people on here i have taken care of problems as needed before, im not a scammer and what i say im sending in the mail is what you will recieve. If there is proven to be power issues or failure without human damage the module can be replaced.

All that i asked was you give cleaning it a shot, you said you did that and i am just now here to respond to the message but i see you have already tried to scare people away from me. Why should i be nice to you if your not going to be patient with me and wait for a responce with whats going to happen.
I am a full time student i do try to sleep 8 hours a day, i go to school and that takes up 8 hours a day 5 days a week, i also have to help take care of a member in my family daily. My time to sit here and do buisness is very minimul, i repsond to all messages in a timly maner (within 24 hours) its not asking much that you wait 24 hours for a responce, please try to be patient.

To everyone else the picture is located in my B/S/T thread i would apreaciate if you would take the above into consideration, his rep, his join date, and also check out the picture and let me know from your experience what you think. I have been around lasers for a few years and im sure many of you have been around them for a decade or two....

Thanks everyone

PS: modules are almost out of stock so please contact me before ordering, it maybe be 3-5 weeks before more get in stock.

robhouston: Can i ask why there is an unotherized payment opened up from your paypal transaction, i have spoke with you many times and now your trying to rip me off and get your money back because you know i shipped the item? If there is a problem you need to contact me, unless your trying to rip me off?

Paypal actually supports these kind of low life buyers--one reason why I hate paypal. I had a guy who had purchased multiple PC items from me over a few months under one account. Clearly his own account, all items sent to the same address. I was not using eBay, but listing items on a forum. He made his final large purchase, a $400 graphics card, and when he received the card, he had his credit card company reverse payment and filed an unauthorized payment through paypal. Paypal said it was my fault, because the address was not confirmed, yet he had received other items over months and months to this same address. I had already transferred the cash to my bank account before the filing, so paypal took his side and gave me a -$400 balance. I simply quite using that account, and now use the non-account option to pay through paypal. :D Stuck it to them, and they did not have a SS number to cause any credit effect on me. So that's that paypal. :na:

Anyways, I'm ordering one of these 200mW 3.6-4.2V modules from you ASAP, nexbox360.

Check your pm for a quick question I'd like to ask before I send payment.

Thanks

Im still waiting to hear from you on what you want to do about the broken module.

Its been over 8 hours and im sure you've been home from school.

8 Hours? Dude, you need to take a chill pill and quit trying to run the show.

I already told you to read the e-bay listing page, by making a sale you agree and accept all terms and conditions. THERES YOUR ANSWER.

I have a life other than selling lasers and going to school, i also take care of a member in my family, im sorry if i can not respond to you in less than 8 hours.

AGAIN READ THE E-BAY LISTING PAGE. you should have done this before you made a sale.
AGAIN like i said if your not going to be patient and nice with me why should i bother to bend the rules for you, you clearly joined this forum to get the members discount.

Anyone that treats me with respect has gotten great service from me your the first to sit here and not be patient with me and warn others as if im going to scam them or have no repsect for other forum members, you dont know anyone on here but me, and thats not saying much because i dont know you.

PS: I never came home from school last night i went out with my girlfriend being that its friday i like to have dinner and a drink to relax.

Your the first person out of all the lasers i have sold (I have sold hundres of these same 3v modules) and i have never had a lense problem like this. Like i said theres something on the lense you said it WAS NOT THERE when you got it, so something you did scorched the lense. The diode is still clearly workig fine and in team00 mode. I dont know what your doing with this laser and clearly no one on here knows you because your a fresh new member and only singed up to buy this module at a cheaper cost.

Why dont you try unscrewing the laser lense adjuster as these are focusable and cleaning the inside of the lense if you indeed think its on the inside of the lense.

You don't know what your talking about I'm quoting the 8 hours he said he is gone out of the day . He quoted that time frame to respond , not me originally. So dude, please read the whole thing before putting in your 2 cents.

Based on what you have displayed here, I think more people than I would like you to hit the road, Jack. :p

That is a good idea.
keep matter private to reduce drama, now if only we could get all our members to do this......

Clearly you have not red the ebay listing it stats you accept the working on arrival, your module was working on arrival and still is working there is just something on the lense.

I'm telling you that you can pull the lense out to clean it so you have a nice dot again if you think its on the inside lense. If your so confident that its on the inside and know so much about lasers then what's the problem open it up and clean it problem solved. The diode and crystal are still in perfect working order I did nothing to this module to make the lense dirty you did.

I'm not replacing the module, as you stated the dot was fine when you got it so clearly I did nothing to it your responsible for the use of the module not me.
Yeah 8 hours of my day is taken up by school I said you can atleast wait 24 hours for a responce I don't come home from school and hop right on the computer to serve you, I as well as everyone else have other responsibilities to take care of.

He joins to get a discount, sprouts demands upon the seller while boasting poor remarks, whines when he didn't pay attention to begin with, and then calls me a troll. Great amusement for me anyways.

I can't wait to see what kind of useful data he contributes to this community after the spoonfeeding session is over.

Uh, sorry for the intromission, but ..... with all that talking about dirty lens and defective module ..... why the module owner cannot just post a macro pic of the front lens, in focus, so can be seen if there's something on the lens, or if the lens is scratched or dirty, or similar ?

In this way, don't think that the question can be solved a bit better ?

Just an idea ..... ;)

BTW, nexbox360, i want also to ask you if the front lens holder is so esasy to take away, from your module ..... cause, in the ones that i got in the past from o-like, it required a hell of work, cause it was fixed with a lot of loctite threadblocker glue .....

The lense case is fixed with locktite but the focus lense inside the lense case is held on by a little dab of glue so this can be easily removed.
If yu look at my other thread in the B/S/T section he did post a picture of what it looked like and it looked like a match was light to close to the lense and it got dirty. Check it out yourself and let me know what you think but from past experience that's what it looks like when something gets on the lense. It was received in perfext working condition with a perfect beam dot like he said he claims something from inside got onto the lense and he can't clean it.....

I already told you to read the e-bay listing page, by making a sale you agree and accept all terms and conditions. THERES YOUR ANSWER.

I dont see how any eBay rules apply to a module he bought here. He didnt agree to anything, because he bought it from here, not eBay. Why dont you fix his problem and move on? I've seen 3 other modules you sold have the same halo effect. Are they all dirty lenses, or just a bad product?

When making a sale those rules apply as stated.
Anyways this is the only module I know of that has had the "halo" effect that suposably can not be cleaned.
There was another buyer who had the same problem I spoke with him over email explained how to clean it and it was fine after that.
When I ship the modules the lenses are clean and the beam is tight, it is possible for it to get dirty and then it needs to be cleaned.
I have talked to the buyer via pm.
If you want to sell lasers and run your own buisness then please do so, the buyer received the module with a perfect beam dot after he used it it got the halo effect look at the pictures it looks like a match was light to close. There is nothing wrong with the module itself, the lense just needs to be cleaned, why waste $10 in shipping cost and waste time when there is nothing physicly wrong with the module?

I responded to your messages as soon as I could within 24 hours normaly within just a few hours, you complained when it took me over 8 hours to give you a repsonce if I respond to you in less than 24 hours I would consider that a quick responce and yes we have spoke via pm I have all the messages saved in my inbox, you just sent me a message yesterday saying the problem is solved you would leave positive rep and everything is fine.

Chalkboard,

Besides all this finger pointing, have you cleaned the lens surfaces of your laser?

If you photo it, and then clean it, then look at the after photo, does the pattern change in any way at all? I'm wondering if the Q-tip may just be swirling the contaminants around. Years ago I used to try cleaning laser lenses with Q-tips and alcohol (about 2 times total). I learned my lesson, because Q-tips would just stir up the contaminants on the lens and then leave fuzz as well, and not actually doing much of a job at cleaning the lens. I don't recommend them at all.

Now I use small square gun patches. They're not the cotton patches I normally use on my rifle barrels, but some kind of stiffer synthetic fiber which doesn't leave any fuzz. I don't know the material for sure because I got them a long time ago and they're just in a ziplock bag.

Clean other surfaces than just the front lens. Any optical surface can get contaminated. You gotta dig in before just putting it off to the side. ;)

Between the two threads, I don't think I've seen a beamshot posted. Just sayin'. Mine's been working fine, and I figure it's going to have some spill, unless they used some kind of quantum super lens technology. As I said before, as long as it puts out a good amount of green, in TEM00, I'm happy. Haven't gotten a chance to test divergence yet. I'll probably just eyeball it somewhere.

These are green modules that put out ~150mW, mostly in a dot. If you want something that puts out exactly 200mW, TEM00, with zero noise, I imagine some nice lab units could do that.

You know, the combined knowledge of everybody on this forums is greater than the knowledge of Nexbox360. That's not a rip, that's just a reminder of the obvious. Perhaps someone on here can help fix your problem if you post more details, and a picture. I, for one, would like to know if it's a problem that will occur with many modules and that can be avoided.
