Hey guys I got one of those drivers off of Aixiz ebay site and it is actually too long to fit in the Aixiz module. The threads only go about halfway up. Is there any alternate to making this work other than epoxy?
Thanks

Indeed - if its designed to fit within the module, there probably is some way you can make it to. If its a driver you designed yourself, you will find the spare space within the module to be very small.

Uh, nice shirt. Try taking a photo of the module from further away so it is in focus, and then cropping down to size.

You can see if you have one of those shorter Aixiz modules. Some, like the sure modules, are actually a bit shorter than the "original" Aixiz modules. You could also just forego the driver housing altogether if you can properly heatsink the module around the lens holder.

I dont care if you like my shirt, man. Does the picture not show the problem? I think it is just fine. I bought the modules off of the ebay site they said x30 mm so hmm I guess I will measure.

Yeah its 30 mm not counting the focusing ring

I just said it is 30mm dude. Just said it. That means the driver is too big.

I didn't ask about the module, sir. Obviously the module isn't short. I measured it at 30mm as advertised.

Some modules run short. Just cut the back off.

Cut open the back of the module. I just said that dude.

So driver IS to big, isn't it?

Toast T_J is trying to say You can cut open the end of the AixiZ module that has the small hole. The driver would still be just inside the module, and will work just fine.
