Dragon Lasers Viper 55mW

what they dont know wont hurt them......my rents have no idea i have a 1.5W 445 or a 100mW+ 532 :na:

all they know is my GF bought me a cheap green laser pen for xmas, oh will they be surprised next month when i go home for the summer, although nothing they can do about it since im 22 :p

i think my dad will want his own, nice easy way to start a bonfire in the middle of winter and you dont have to take your gloves off when its below 30 degrees outside. plus duty cycles in the cold would be amazing!!!! melt all the snow of new england away!!!!

Haha I guess so, but they'd find out somehow :na:

Buy your dad one for his birthday or christmas or something! :p

haha so awesome :P that would be the best present if my parents brought me one, i gotta buy my own ha

Oh ok, Happy Birthday to Livinloud Senior! I'm sure he'll love lasers and probably want one soon :p

well i told him my lazerer replacement should arrive at the house monday or tuesday and if he had any 18650's laying around then he could try it, if not forward it to me in FL since i want to use my greenie!!!!!

My first "high power" green laser was a CNI made X-105 from Novalasers.
Power output was about the same as what you have here but it cost $220 in 2007 when I bought it. Looking at your review makes me wish I still had it.

I still think that CNI's DPSS pens are the best on the market. They cost more than those hideous generic lasers but the difference in quality is obvious.

It's not just about milliWatts! That's something most newbies don't understand. ;)

Very Nice!

I Think mine might be leaking some 808nm :(
not 100% sure yet tho

What makes you think that?
This laser should be IR filtered. All CNI's DPSS non-IR wavelength lasers are IR filtered.

If you have an old webcam or digital camera, sometimes they do not have an IR filter.
You can either put the goggles over the camera or pass the beam through the goggles. If a dim pink or purple spot shows up on the camera then there may be some IR leak.

This is what it looks like:
