DPSS ~650nm pen?

We can provide the PGL-III-C-671nm laser, please let me know the output power that you need.

Following up with requests for pricing in 100mW, 200mW and 300mW; and quantities 1-10, and the pen host.

Nice! :-)

Let's hope for a good price.

Do we have any specs for the pointers? Or will it be equal/same as the 532nm PGL's?

Don't know yet, waiting for another reply... I'd presume that if they put it in a pen size at all, it'd be a PGL host. No reason to fabricate anything new. Maybe Glenn got some info as well...

:bumpit:

any news yet? I'd definitely be in for something like this... possibly just a module though for a custom build. I suggest asking them if they could do it in a GLP-CR2 host (aka the DL "Aurora") or a PGL-III-M (aka DL "Spartan", which is MUCH nicer than the PGL-III-C, aka DL "Hulk Ultra").

peace & thanks

Okay. I just got a DL 671nm Spartan (DPSS), AKA CNI PGL-III-M-671. 150mW. I kept on the down-low because I didn't know if they understood me; and if I'd end up with a diode red (their current 640nm Spartan) but I guess they did understand, and this is definitely DPSS.

I'm slammed with work this week and next but I *want to review this one*. I'll get beamshots too; first impressions, daddy like.

The beam seems to be much more 'brilliant striking red' than my Dildas, PHR Build, or Pulsar. Honestly, brightness looks about the same; but the beam starts at a perfect pinpoint like green DPSSes do, and is pretty much round at ~30ft. The beam is very clean. No "wings" like diode reds have.

It's also 2000hz pulsed, which gives a very nice effect in a red laser. It *does* appear to be IR filtered, looking at the construction of it.

Also, it seems to burn anything it touches. Better than the Dilda. Unsure why this is.

Anyways, yes, these (671 DPSS Portrables) are possible, Cmak, this may change your "under debate" star up there in your signature. 671 DPSS is ver' ver' nice indeed.

More to follow when I get some downtime.
