the forum has had lots of action lately - it's very exciting to see it grow!

i have been tweaking some of the settings on the forum to try and keep the server load to a minimum. i think everything should be running a bit smoother now.. i also fixed a bug in the recent post bar on the bottom of the forum, in which the messages were centered incorrectly in internet explorer.

yabb 2.2 has been released after 2 years of work. i dont plan on upgrading... although 2.2 has lots of new features, it is altogether too risky. worst case scenario would be having to restore from backup, but i don't want to be in that situation either

it is possible in the distant future we could upgrade to 2.2, but right now 2.1 is extremely stable and reliable.

btw

i did sign up for the google account to accept donations, but i havent linked it to a bank account yet. will hopefully get that done tomorrow

i will probably be doing a backup late this night when the least amount of people are on as possible. in a month or so the forum might be holding around 2gb of data.
