I saw this 5000 mw 450 nm laser at dhgate.com, it look's cool but, i don't know if it's maxium power output is acctually 5000 mw, cause the foto's are made like that, that you can't read it from the sticker, can annybody help please.
Cause I think it's a really cool case, so if it is not legit, can you give me a link to a high power blue laser with that case please.

That's not going to be 5000mW, it will be a lot less than that.

I haven't seen a host like that before.

I know, buth for that price i will be happy with an average power output of 2.5W to 3W, will that be possible for that laser

It's hard to say how much you'll get from that laser without someone testing it, I wouldn't expect anything over 1W, but I could be wrong.

If you buy that laser its for the host, not the power since it won't have the advertised power at all, most powerful 445 are 3.5w and arent that cheap at all so make your deductions

I know that host...even saw a build thread with one like it...Blord maybe.

I think IL might carry it as well...too hard to search their site.

That sure is a helluva price tag for an underspec laser, case or no...

Sticker says 5000mw and class lVb but don't count on it. They just say that to get people to buy it. If you want to just use the host you can get them for less.

ask DJNY about laserpoint.com, think he bought from them a few months ago and bought lasers

You can get 3W from 9mm diode, if you are lucky. 5W from single diode laser is out of question .. at least today. And the host is too small and cheap to house dual laser.
It's likely it would be around 1W.

DrSid, you might want to pop over to Lazeerer's latest thread...a 5W 638nm!
It's on now!

Interesting indeed .. well there are even stronger diodes in IR .. but not in 445nm.
This is just another 'add some zeros -> profit' page ..

Oh, absolutely...that 445 is B.S.
I just thought you might appreciate his find.
