Do you think a driver is included in this?

Apologies up front if this is the wrong type of question or asked in some improper manner...

Can anyone tell if the link below includes a driver?

Brand New 445nm 1W (1000mW) Blue Laser Diode in Aixiz Module
HighTechDealZ - 445nm 1W (1000mW) Blue Brand New Laser Diode in Aixiz Module

I would suggest you contact the seller for any information
you require that is not clearly evident in the description...

It is obvious that he is selling a 445nm LD pressed into an
Aixiz module... I don't see any mention of a Driver anywhere
in the description..
I also don't see any pic of a Driver.. All I see is pictures of
a LD pressed into an Aixiz Module...

That would lead a reasonable person to understand that a
Driver is NOT included...

Doesn't look like it comes with a driver and it's probably an A140. IMO, spend a little more and buy from DTR. He is super fast at shipping, great to do business with, and you can trust you get what you pay for.

I would say NO.
Price is too low for a driver.
Pictures show a diode in a module, but never with a driver attached.

1 Picture showed wires coming out of a module, but that picture was only to show you the free GITD dustcap he's including.

No driver included.

He is a reputable dealer, as is DTR.

I have been to his apartment, and it is full of laser toys.

Thanks for all the constructive comments. As I am new to this, obviously I dont have any idea of pricing etc. The picture with the wires coming out of the module confused me I guess...

I bought my first 445nm blue laser diode module and driver from DTR. I was very satisfied. However, I ignored all the advice regarding your first DIY laser build and purchased an expensive diode instead of some cheaper ones... and fried it within 3 days.

The diode is now a very expensive blue LED. However, the microboost driver appears to be ok... my DMM is showing a constant current of 1.7A. I ordered a new diode from DTR today and will hook it up to my existing driver.

I still have a lot to learn but am completely addicted to this new hobby!

Well, the silver lining on that dark cloud is that you can use that laser-turned-LED for testing or measurement before you dedicate a working one.
