dmx 512 for reke 500

so i FINALLY got around to ordering my reke and i was wondering what DMX controllers others have used with this or similar pj's that they would recommend.

Pretty much everything will work, all DMX is the same. Obviously you can get better controllers, but unless you're actually using it with other lighting fixtures, just get something cheap.

I personally have the DMX USB Pro from Enttec, which I paid about $250 for like 5 years ago. I think they're down to like $150 now. but you can get much cheaper interfaces on eBay.

so ive been having some issues with the dip switch addressing for the unit. i have dip "1" and "10" on like it says in the manual which would mean dip "2" would start the addressing? and it would start at address "1" or would it be "2"? I am so lost as to why i cant find what my reke is addressed to with my board

Isn't it right justified?

X-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-X Pins 1 & 10 not used for addressing.

i tried that too and i cant seem to find it with my board. but whats odd is sometimes when its plugged into the board it will randomly throw out an image for about 2-5 seconds then it stops. now i didnt move any of the sliders or touch anything it just randomly puts up a static image. could it be possible that the dmx card? is faulty?
