Their standard flat rate shipping to the US is $9.99.  The auction states it ships from Dublin, Ireland but it will arrive from Hong Kong.  Those DPMs are a bargain at $20.-$25. total.  The last DPM I bought (Jewell) from the usual commercial electronic supply market was over $60. and still not as nice as this one.
 





This is what I've got so far using the Radio Shack Enclosure...

where did you find the knob from? ::) I don't see it listed in the parts list.
 
well i have like 6 multimeters so i can connect it to that instead of buying the lcd screen?

Hah! You missed the big 10K pot under the knob! It's not listed either. ;) Both came from my junk drawer but I'm sure the knob originated from Radio Shack at some point.

Hah!  You missed the big 10K pot under the knob!  It's not listed either.  ;)  Both came from my junk drawer but I'm sure the knob originated from Radio Shack at some point.

The part list listed 2 10k pot, [smiley=smiley.gif]vr1 is a 10k pot on the board and vr2 is under the knob :P
 
Uh, VR1 is an internal trim-pot to set the gain once (should be set according to Knimrod's nice calculations above), and VR2 (with the knob) is to adjust to 0.0 before a measurement to compensate for stray temperature fluctuations.

please define "gain" and I saw the calculations, but I didnt know what they were for... heh

and is there any way to mod this and attatch a USB cable, so that we can attatch the meter to a computer and graph output etc.?

"Gain" is for calibrating the output voltage of the amp. to the laser power being measured.

I'm working on an add-on that will be able to send power meter data to a PC for display/logging. No ETA for that yet.
 
does your PCB include the zero ofset curcuit and the full schematic etc?

The zero offset is built into the pcb. The schematic in in this thread. ;)
