We have 110 Acres of land back at home in north east Texas.... I will shoot a picture next time I go back home as now I am in college but lol were able to put a dot on the water towers 9 miles away and see it with the naked eye at night : ) Using pseudonomen137's JScript Diameter Calculator
I calculated the dot to be a little under 2' i thinks that's good for a 200$ expander lol.

monocular and binoculars work well, but they usually have extra lenses and prisms to correct the image. These extra-optics rob more of your laser-power, but still work well.

As a side note, when I first got into lasers, I actually paid $15 for these very plans from E-bay. It turned out it was a member here that was reselling these free plans, he is still around too
