Just to throw this out there. I ordered a Jayrob lens from his site a week or so ago and received the lens a few days later.
Also I am not sure how you ordered a Lava drive from the site as it has said SOLD OUT for a few weeks now. Perhaps you were still able to place the order regardless of the "SOLD OUT" button on the sale page.

It said there was 1 flexdrive left when I check yesterday. That's the 1 I bought.

The circumstances were slightly different. Dave touched on it in his post. I'll type out the whole story tomorrow

Basically, Dark wanted flexdrives to build some lasers as he had taken orders for completed lasers when he had no flexdrives in stock (at the time, I only knew he needed flexdrives.)

I decided to do a deal with him, and I let him "borrow" a flexdive - he would send one out when Dr lava restocked. He got it, and it "didn't work" - I never found out if he was bsing me here, but this isn't important. He said that it was no problem, and that he would send my driver out when he got a new batch.

I waited for months, and although I occasionally asked him if he had them yet, he said he didn't. I then became suspicious, and Pm'd Dr Lava for confirmation that Dark hadn't got any yet. I was told that DAo0 had received 4 orders and a total of ~30 drivers. I then send a firm but polite PM to DAoO, and told him to send one out. He said that he would.

While this was going on, the ban polls started coming up, and DAoO started losing his cool. I still have some of his anti-dave rants in my PM inbox BTW, they are hilarious. I didn't vote in poll 1 as I thought that he would not send the driver. At this times, our relationship was cordial, and although I had criticised his actions in the forum, he either hadn't noticed, or ignored it.

By the time the 2nd poll came up, Tyler has been stalling, and pissing me off, so I stopped delaying my voting, and voted "yes" to ban. I immediately got a PM from him, saying that he had betrayed me, and that I wouldn't get my flexdrive at all.

He then got banhammered, and I emailed him a couple of weeks ago, and loled at him. Here is the series of emails - I find them funny.

Hey Tyler,

Just reminding you that you owe me a flexdrive, and if you had a shred of decency about you, you would send one out to me. Obviously, I'm not expecting you to, because you have lied to me about it in the past, and ripped others off, but send out out.

Actually, being willing to make a personal loss for the better of others is having a shred of decency. I doubt you would have ever sent it. I gave you the benefit of the doubt, even when I had done some investigating myself, and had found that you were lying to me all along. It isn't backstabbing at all. I was doing the best for the forum. I only wish I had listened to them earlier; Maybe you should have done as well, then you wouldn't have wasted so much money on darklasers. More and more details are coming out about you tyler; someday, you will get your comeuppance

Dark Lasers still makes sales every single day lol, the sites legit, no one can argue that, but when i saw you vote yes, while you were "acting" like a friend, i made my choice. i came to realize you were simply sweet-talking me because i owed ya a little something, im sure the SECOND i shipped that package, you would have turned right around and joined in with the others.

So the money i spend on Dark Lasers is FAR from a waste lol! your just naieve, and simply dont have a clue. do you think LPF members are the ONLY people who know about Dark Lasers? think again lol.

i was just trying to help people out on the forum, and got branded a scammer by Daguin because me and him had an arguement over a month ago about nothing to do with lasers. so his way of being "mature" is to subscribe to all my threads, so he can jump in them every time i make a post, and he also PMed every known past customer of mine and told them i RIPPED THEM OFF!!!! lol, what a stupid old fart, he even PM'ed Maxi3D, my best customer, and tried to tell him i ripped him off on all 3 lasers, lol, what he DIDNT see is the VIDEO reviews of all three lasers, proving on video, that they were what i said they were. so he's just being a douche for the hell of it, what a miserable person. anyways,

Thanks for writing in, and ignore my rant about Daguin, i just think he's a huge prick, who thinks because of all that rep it makes him God... annoys me, allot. and it sux that he, and i quote "has made me his PERSONAL project" meaning, he's gunna do this forever until i leave, so to spite him, i will NEVER leave mwahahaha Dark Lasers is here to STAY! i just refuse to sell pre-built lasers anymore, thats all.

It could also be that he simply had no idea how to use them. I helped one of his customers with some parts he got from Tyler. He had a flexdrive and three 10440's to use to assemble the laser! It was a three AAA carriage type host. I'm pretty sure that if you hit the flexdrive with 12.6V, none of them will "work."

I saw those and plan on buying one but need to save more first. I had enough for one but then I saw the kenometer lite...and well...now I am back to saving for an 8x diode. I just got my phr working in a pocket mini using the flexdrive but I want more power.

I hear ya there. I had a 6X for a few weeks and loved it but then once I got the taste of an 8X I had to have at least that if not more. Hense the reason I have pushed my last 2 8X builds past 420mA.

Im considering a 6x but I figure I will just wind up selling it and buying an 8x anyways, so why even bother with a 6x? then again either one would be better than the weakling phr i have right now.
