daguin's "Quick & Dirty" Sale

Whoa. All the way down east.
When there are great caves out West, even in Missourah.
But, it is family, & friends who make *THE DIFFERENCE*, I suppose.
Have a great time. We are in the Pioneer Valley.

It's not a "cave" we're working in. This WAS solid rock. Until we blew the tunnel into it. It is a pegmatite. Specifically a "gem bearing" pegmatite.

Tourmaline, aquamarine, cesium beryl, quartz, etc.

Peace,
dave

Thats awesome Dave. I would love to mine for hidden treasures like that. Not going to happen till I get surgery first though. They would need a crane to get me out of there if I fell or hurt myself LOL.

Hey if you want to go for a small ride check this place..
:: Welcome :: The Lobster Shack at Two Lights

One of the best lobster rolls in Maine by far. Its been featured on TV a few times. Plus a killer view. Also they have some strange rock formations there. The rock that the restaurant sits on is made up of vertical strips. Its hard to explain. Its like slate but the strips are only an inch wide or so. I've never seen anything like it. Its worth the trip if you have time.

Very nice Dave! Have a great time. What was the highest grade item you found mining? I was a "rockhound" at one time in the past.

It's tough to make a choice like that. Different kinds of things are judged by different criteria. I have a petrified fern head that is so well preserved that you can see the "hairs" on the fronds. I have a piece of dinosaur bone that was used by ancient man as the base of his fire starting post and bow. The pink quartz crystals we are finding at Mt. Mica (Maine) are only found one other place in the world. These things are virtually irreplaceable.

I guess my favorites are a suite of tourmaline crystals that sit right above me on my desk. The three crystals with the fairies in this picture (not the one on the acrylic square) are a matching suite of double terminated crystals that I collected in the Himalaya Tourmaline mine. They are all from the same pocket.

The design for this T-Shirt was taken from a watercolor I commissioned of these three crystals. The T-Shirt was the T-Shirt made for Zinn Productions for their mineral "show" in Tucson last year

If it is morning, this must be a "bump."

MAN! Y'all drive a hard bargain. Or is it that we have reached the saturation point for 6X lasers? Maybe everyone is saving their money for a trip to the beach. Who can know such things? (points for the source)

SO HOW ABOUT A "SALE" WITHIN THE SALE"

In any event, I'm going to sweeten the pot. I don't feel bad about doing it this way because no one has bought a 6X yet.

So how about if I include a carrying/storage case for all of the 6X lasers. A rechargeable battery and brand new battery charger with the ones that take the CR123 size battery, and a $10 discount on the one that uses AAA's and the one that uses the 14500?

Here they are with the cases and chargers

Reasonable offers considered.

I think the source is DAoO. He is killing the market for 6X with his lower prices. But your builds and service are far more superior, and worth every penny. I wouldnt buy anything from that hack.

No one is getting them much cheaper with him. Just parts and shipping come to around$155. Add his $20 assembly fee and you are up to $175 already. Now add the case and the charger.

I am not even "making" money on these. I am simply recouping costs.

Nope. I don't think that he is the issue (or people are really bad at math). Also, he is gong to figure out very quickly that warranty work will have him loosing money over time (if he hasn't started to figure this out already).

Cost +$20 doesn't go very far when you have to replace a $60 diode. Heck, with shipping, it doesn't even cover the cost of replacing a PHR. He hasn't been assembling lasers long enough yet to have had to deal with the inevitable warranty work yet.

I wish him well. I just don't think that he has a successful business plan in place.

Peace,
dave
